Not sure if everyone has heard about the swine flu...I think, asians are more weary about this flu especially after the outbreak of bird flu and H5N1. Thing about swine flu is that its in pigs which may not be able to fly, but can still transmit relatively quickly due to worldwide shipping and trading.
Yes, you may not be able to find "Mexican Pork" in the supermarkets, but I highly doubt they would lable it as such products even if it was really from mexico... It seems people who have been infected were those who recently travelled to mexico, but it is contagious from person to person.
