In Japan, among the four seasons, autumn along with spring is the ideal time to enjoy all sorts of things because of the mild weather. The food tastes good, the air is crisp and clear, so it is considered the perfect season to do just about anything, from eating to playing sports. Ayabie member Aoi seems to be happy about autumn too.
Aoi "Right now it's the middle of autumn. How are you spending your autumn this year? Since I've never tried reading lots of books maybe I should do that...but eating is the best for me♪ I'm beginning to see street vendors selling roasted sweet potatoes. The aroma of the potatoes convinces me that autumn is truly here♪ Although to be honest I'm not fond of eating them...okay, my eyes are getting tired from reading books and looking too much at the computer screen. I'm going to bed early and rest my eyes."
As mentioned before and in Aoi's blog, all kinds of activities could be enjoyed in autumn. Reading, studying...but eating good food is hard to beat! If you were to spend some time in Japan, what would you like to do during autumn?

It will make you like to do ironing♪ I've always liked cleaning, washing clothes and cooking. I can become a househusband anytime. During our tour I got into the habit of ironing my costumes everyday in the dressing room. I love ironing. I can't tolerate having the slightest crease in my costumes when performing onstage. The other members don't seem to mind much, but I can't stand it. I also like to do the ironing myself instead of having someone else do it. At times it does get a bit tiresome. I also have a special set of rules when doing my laundry. I'm put off if my clothes don't smell good…wearing smelly half-dry clothes is completely out of the question. I like the smell of [fabric softener] Downey, but nothing beats the smell of clothes after drying them out under the bright sun! Although I was hoping for clear skies tomorrow, according to the forecasts it's going to rain…I really wish it would sunny! I've just imagined hanging an imaginary ‘teru-teru bozu' inside my heart. Good night.”
[‘Teru-teru bozu; てるてる坊主' is a simple doll made of white cloth or paper that when hanged by a string inside the house is believed to bring sunny weather.]
AOI can become a wonderful family man! Also, his costumes must smell great onstage!
