Some interesting news for fans of ダウト (D=OUT), the band has announced that they will be providing a theme song to a popular children’s TV show this month!

The song, entitled, “SUNRISE” has been chosen to be the ending theme for the TV Tokyo series, “ピラメキーノ” (PIRAMEKINO). The song will be the ending theme throughout the month of March and will air along with the show Monday through Friday at 6:30pm.

It’s kind of funny that it is for a children’s show, but I have to admit, it does look like a very…. strange TV series to begin with! Haha, be sure to take a peek at the various characters on the site to see what we mean!

D=OUT have announced the release of their second full length album! The album, titled Carnival Ukiyo (Title of album varies on version purchased -Jo-, -Gin- or -Dai-), is due to be released 2010.03.10 and will contain a total of 12 songs, of which 8 of those songs are new! Limited Edition [Type A] will contain a DVD where as Limited Edition [Type B] will contain a 48 paged photo book. The regular edition features an alternate jacket randomly selected from 10 designs.

Over The Edge 2009

Visual-kei bands will get together for the third incarnation of the New Year's Eve live event ‘Over The Edge ‘09'. This year the very best of the second generation neo visual-kei bands, including 12012, Ayabie, and girugamesh, will unite at Shibuya C.C.Lemon Hall!

The annual event will be hosted and directed mainly by the bands that appeared in the very first ‘Over The Edge' event in 2007. A new category called the ‘Legend Slot' has been added, and as the first ‘Legend Slot' artist D'ERLANGER will appear. D'ERLANGER made waves with their spectacular debut in the late 1980s, and created quite a stir in the music industry. A plethora of unannounced special guests will also make surprise appearances too. If you're a visual-kei freak be sure to join the party!
