Kannivalism: New Album Release!

Rock band kannivalism have scheduled the release of their long-awaited second full-length album, titled helios, for March 17th.

helios will go on sale three years after Nu age., the group's first album. It is expected to contain 13 tracks, including their comeback single life is.

Three versions of the album will be released: limited type A, which will include a DVD with a music video and a documentary, limited type B, containing footage from their one-man at Zepp Tokyo on December 26th, and a regular, CD-only edition, featuring extra content on the CD.

Only a few days after the album comes out, the band will also be having their first one-man at a hall. It will take place at Nakano Sun Plaza on March 30th under the title she said, under the helios..

Visual rock band kannivalism have announced the tracklist and other details regarding their upcoming single life is, scheduled to come out on November 28th.

kannivalism have recently returned from two-year break, and this will be their first single release since pausing activities. life is will be accompanied by the b-side at dusk and the single itself will be sold in three editions: limited type A, containing a DVD with the PV for the title song, limited type B, including a special interview and a documentary of August 25th, and a regular CD-only version, including an additional third track called the riff raff.

life is -for 2007, a different version of the song, has been available to purchase as a digital single since September 9th in Japan. Further details about their second full-length album, scheduled to be released next year, have not been unveiled yet.

"Well, here is some awesome news for all kannivalism fans! The band is back! They’ve also added a new drummer, Mitsuya, to their line-up, making them a four member band!

The band will be starting up activities again on December 26th at Zepp Tokyo. On November 18th they’ll be releasing a new single, and have also announced that in 2010 they’ll be putting out their second album!

The Random House company will also be putting out a publication by Ryo, where he talks about his illness (depression). To celebrate, they are planning a release event as well."
