Matenrou Opera : DAWN OF ANOMIE [dvd]
Following the announcement of a coupling collection and a re-release of their first album ANOMIE, rising visual kei rock band Matenrou Opera have set the release of their first live DVD, called DAWN OF ANOMIE in Akasaka BLITZ, for November 26th.
The DVD will feature 17 tracks selected from their first one-man concert, which took place at Akasaka BLITZ on July 23rd with all tickets sold out. Featuring songs spanning their two-year career, though focusing on the album ANOMIE, the release also has a few treats for fans. It will come with a memorial replica of the ticket for the concert and a reservation paper to acquire a ticket to their next one-man, scheduled to be held at Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall in May next year.

Matenrou Opera悠～yu～ seems to be interested in school lunches [provided by schools]…
悠～yu～ “Have you ever eaten school lunches? Well, I haven’t!It’s because when I was in elementary, middle, and high school I had to bring my own lunch. Ain’t that cool?So, my dream is to sit with some kids in elementary school and eat a school lunch together. Alright!”
In Japanese elementary and middle schools, the schools usually provide lunches for the students [lunch fees are paid in advance]. 悠～yu～ is a very rare case. 悠～yu～ really sounds keen on actually eating school lunches. In a more recent entry…
悠～yu～ “Just as I thought, I seem to be a minority. Almost all the fans told me that they’ve eaten school lunches.For the past few years I’ve been thinking whether I should go to this theme restaurant where you get to eat school lunches…If anyone has been to the restaurant, tell me what it’s like.”悠～yu～ is busily gathering information!
Eww! My school lunches really sucked. *coughs* Matenrou Opera +little children= failure?

Anomie: The End.

As of July 23rd, Anomie is no longer! The band has decided to end their activities as Anomie officially and continue on as Matenrou Opera. They left this message on their site:
