On January 13th FACT will release their second major album 'in the blink of an eye'. As with their first album, the producer will be Michael 'Elvis' Baskette, best known for working with Story Of The Year and Escape The Fate. All 12 new songs included in the album were recorded in the US.

Also, for their new album they will release for the first time a 'limited first edition'. It will come with a DVD containing the music video for the first song of the album 'slip of the lip'. The special CD cover features the prologue of the comic 'NIVAN RUNDER'.

From February 2010 FACT will embark on a nationwide tour. Tickets for all the concerts sold out the day they went on sale. In response to popular demand the band announced that they will hold an extra concert at Shibuya O-EAST on February 8th. Details such as the date the tickets will go on sale will be revealed soon at their official website.

Due to be released 2010.01.13! FACT have announced that they're due to release their newest album, titled In the Blink Of an Eye.

The album is to be released in two different versions, Limited Edition and Regular Edition. Limited Edition is to contain a CD + DVD + Comic/Special Packaging, where as the Regular Edition will just contain the CD, which includes 12 all new songs!

For those who couldn't see it and wanted to, here's my response to this horrible review on NME. I added spaces that were taken away for some reason.

"This is one of the most retarded reviews I've ever read. I seriously cannot comprehend how you managed to get a job doing reviews for NME.

I'm personally a big fan of FACT but i respect everyone has their own opinion and musical taste, however, this is a complete and utter insult to fans of FACT and the band itself. I wouldn't be so angered with you if you had managed to successfully describe in musical terms the faults of this album, instead of this moronic rant in which you state how bad it is as a matter of fact when it is clearly only your personal taste.

Readers, please don't be put off by this idiotic review, FACT are a brilliant band with a very bright future ahead.

On a last note, anyone with half an ounce of talent for reviewing, or knowledge of the English language, would be able to describe why they disliked the album without having to swear so much, i suggest you pick up a dictionary."

I confess, I was initially intrigued by the idea of five masked Japanese dudes spraying Refused’s hardcore Vs dance template with an emo-pop sheen. But, after a few listens (after I’d paused to vomit over myself), the buffed guitars and characterless screams sounded less like music and more like the collective asphyxi-wank of a marketing team hell-bent on exploiting lonely pre-teens who aren’t brave enough for Between The Buried And Me’s quiet/loud symphonies or late-period AFI’s techno-goth rumblings.
