Kagrra, has announced one of their upcoming songs, which hasn’t yet been released, will be used as the theme song in a new movie which is based on Yasunari Kawabata’s 「掌の小説」 (Tanagokoro no Shosetsu; Palm of the Hand).
The movie is adapted from a novel with the same title, and was written by the seminal Japanese author Kawabata Yasunari. One of the defining characteristics of Kagrra, is their emphasis on ‘Wa (和; Japanese tradition)’, and it is interesting to see how they will collaborate with Kawabata, one of the founding fathers of modern Japanese literature!
They will also be releasing the song on October 21st. The title and price has not yet been fixed.
