SEX TOURISM

Mumbai.

In the 19th century, there are reports of sex tourism.

American women liked to visit North American Indians and European women liked to visit Turkey 'to enjoy sex far from home'. (Womens Sex Tourism)

Imagine a pretty fishing village on the coast of some tropical land.

Rich guys buy up the beachfront for a very low price and build hotels.

Drug peddling and prostitution arrive.

Some of the prostitutes will be children as young as 7.

The prostitution of boys is said to be the fastest growing trade in the sex industry. ('Sun-Surf-Sex Tourism' in Samar Magazine)

Some young males service older women.

Some middle aged male child abusers set up orphanages for boys.

Mumbai

Ruan is 7 years old and has been used in pornographic films, made by a group of German 'tourists'. ('Sun-Surf-Sex Tourism' in Samar Magazine)

7 year-old Menaka is a prostitute.

She has "no smile on her face, and her wide eyes register only fear." ('Sun-Surf-Sex Tourism' in Samar Magazine)

The favourite destinations for women seeking sex tourism include Israel and Jamaica. (Female sex tourism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

One Asian country is reported to have 1.2 million child prostitutes.

Many Arabs like to travel to India for child sex. (Fly-by-night bridegrooms / One minor girl, many Arabs)

"Often bearded, invariably in flowing robes and expensive turbans...

"The Arabs usually 'marry' the girls for short periods, sometimes just a single night."

What about other parts of the world?

"In a sleazy hotel room, 'Brittany,' then aged 16 and drugged into oblivion, waited for the men to arrive.

"Her pimps send as many as 17 clients an evening through the door.

This took place in Atlanta, in the U.S. Bible Belt.

"Men fly in, are met by pimps, have sex with a 14-year-old for lunch, and get home in time for dinner with the family," said Sanford Jones, the chief juvenile judge of Fulton County, Georgia.

Child sexual exploitation is believed to be the world's third-biggest money maker for organized crime.

Sex tourist destinations are not safe.

48 year old tourist Peter A was found dead in his hotel room in Soi Pattayaland 3, in Pattaya. The deceased's room had been ransacked and there was blood all over the bathroom, according to the Pattaya Mail.

40 year old tourist Erich B fell from his Pattaya hotel room to his death. Earlier, a local Thai had been seen coming out of his room, according to the Pattaya Mail.

43 year old Oleg C was found dead in his Pattaya hotel room. He had been beaten.

A tourist in his 50's was found dead in a locked room...

"Within a two month period, there have been 7 foreigner deaths (in Pattaya)" reported the Pattaya Mail in a recent edition.

42 year old Peter D was assaulted by a gang of knife wielding thugs and had to receive 70 stitches. The attack took place at a bar on Soi 2, in Pattaya.

35 year old Brian E lost most of his valuables when his South Pattaya hotel room was burgled....

The Pattaya Mail had a report about money being extracted from tourists, by the police.

"There are police behind the scenes helping the foreign mafia do their dirty work," reported the Pattaya Mail.

Female tourists are not necessarily totally safe in Thailand.

23 year-old Johanne M from Cheshire was raped and murdered by a Thai monk. Her body was found south-west of Bangkok.

24-year old Kirsty J was raped and killed in a guesthouse in Chiang Mai.

On the island of Phuket a 22 year old student from Lanarkshire was brutally raped.

TOP POLICEMAN; DRUGS FACTORY; BROTHEL

Rod Jarman

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Rod Jarman is a very senior policeman in the London area in the UK.

One of his homes is a £400,000 property in Abridge in Essex.

This home has been used as a drugs factory.

Worried neighbours contacted the police.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: 'We called to a report of a break-in to a property on London Road, Abridge on December 13.

'There have been no arrests and inquiries continue.'

Reportedly the property was being rented out.

The funeral of Special Constable Nisha Patel, who ran a brothel.

In 2008, the late Postman Patel referred to Rod Jarman (Sex and the Metropolitan Police.)

According to Postman Patel:

Nisha Patel worked for the police as a Special Constable.

Nisha Patel, before she was murdered, ran the "Seventh Heaven" , a brothel/escort agency, with her husband Nasri Patel.

Nasri Patel would often make the claim that his wife Nisha had high-powered friends at Scotland Yard who'd protect him.

On one occasion Nisha Patel tried to collect, from client J, on a bouncing £1,800 cheque.

She indicated that she was on 'police business'.

J called the police.

47 year old Sergeant David Eden sent a report to the Metropolitan (London) Police Professional Standards department; and he sent a formal complaint to Wembley police station, where Nasri Patel worked.

After Nisha Patel was murdered, Sergeant Eden again approached the Metropolitan police.

He was told that his previous report could not be released.

He later discovered that the hard disk of his Hertfordshire police computer, where he had stored a copy, had been wiped.

Police Commander Rod Jarman said that a matter had been brought to his attention by Sergeant Eden, adding: "It was dealt with by way of formal discipline."

According to Sergeant Eden, Nisha Patel had told him:

1. She could have him out of his job.

2. "You don't know who you're f***ing with!"

Nisha Patel was not sacked.

At Nisha's funeral More than 100 police officers formed a guard of honour on the road leading to Golders Green Crematorium in north London, as the funeral cortege arrived.

The coffin was adorned with the Metropolitan Police Service drape and Nisha's police helmet.

Chief Inspector Julia Pendry, one of her closest colleagues, was among those to read a eulogy at the service.

"It is evident by the number of police colleagues here today that Nisha was well liked and popular member of the policing family who will be sadly missed."

At the time of her murder Commissioner Sir Ian Blair said: "Our hearts go out to Nisha's husband and family and friends. It is a tragedy that a young woman who willingly gave up so much of her valuable free time to work as a police officer in her local community should lose her life in this terrible way.

"Nisha was tremendously popular with her colleagues, who regarded her a real team player and her death is a huge loss to the Metropolitan Police Service.

Sex and Race

Another answer, this time on race mixing.

Hey, X, I’m not quite sure what you are looking for here. I suppose the whole thing leaves me ever so slightly puzzled. First off, I have no idea if cheetahs and gazelles ‘like’ each other or not, which hardly seems an appropriate verb in that particular context. I imagine the prevailing emotion of the gazelle towards the cheetah is one of fear. The cheetah, I suppose, is quite indifferent towards the gazelle, except insofar as it exists as an object of consumption. But, at root, in the great natural scheme of things, the one needs the other; for without the gazelle the cheetah would not exist. The cheetah kills the gazelle, yes, but those that it kills are the weaker and the older, making the overall species stronger in the process.

Sorry, that’s a major digression, but I’m sure you get the point. How and why you then use the example of these animals to draw a human parallel is the thing that puzzles me most. People may have different skin colours, but that does not make them different species. Do you know H. G. Wells novel The Time Machine? Well, we are not yet Eloi and Morlok; not yet herbivores and carnivores; one group does not exist as the hunted and the other the hunter. If we did the dominant relationship would one be the one I described above, that between the gazelle and the cheetah.

I have a white skin but I am not in any respect different from a person with a black skin (being English I do not use expressions like African-American!). So, not being different species-and the emphasis here is on race, not species-, white people and black people can have sex, and, yes, they can have children if they wish; they have been for centuries past, a simple fact you must surely be aware of, you are aware of, insofar as you have relatives of a different race. Oh, and speaking personally, I would far rather have sex with a black guy than a Nazi, a different species from me! And if you want to know if this is all theory on my part, no, it’s not.

Sex and Prejudice

This is an answer I gave to a discussion on the nature of sexuality and prejudice.

Essentially we are talking about on the nature of prejudice and the circumstances in which particular prejudices arose. Take the example of male homosexuality. In ancient Greece it wasn’t just ‘normal’ to be homosexual in many cases it was actively encouraged, particularly in the military. In the city state of Thebes pairs of homosexual lovers were hand-picked to join an elite formation known as the Sacred Band. The thinking here was that the disgrace and shame would be all the greater for a soldier who abandoned his lover in battle. The inspiration for this came from Plato himself, who wrote;

For what lover would not choose rather to be seen by all mankind than by his beloved, either when abandoning his post or throwing away his arms? He would be ready to die a thousand deaths rather than endure this. Or who would desert his beloved or fail him in the hour of danger?

Although the Romans were more ambivalent the real prejudice against homosexuality and all forms of ‘non-procreative’ sex comes with the rise of Christianity. Even with the decline in Christian belief the prejudice remains, sustained by irrational feelings; sustained, one also suspects, by fears and insecurities about self-identity. I suspect that some of the greatest homophobes are themselves latent homosexuals!

I certainly don’t agree that heterosexual men are prejudiced towards gays out of a general disgust over the practice of anal intercourse. I can assure you that a lot of straight guys are only too keen on the idea when it comes to girls, both giving and-ahem-receiving! Prejudice is just that-prejudice, an irrational fear of that which is different based, for the most part, on no particular experience.

Transexuality, I suppose, falls into the same trap as homosexuality, though, speaking personally, as a self-professed bisexual I have never at any time come across any prejudice whatsoever. Just the contrary; I know guys who would only be too happy to see me get it on with another girl. :-))

Inside the Medieval mind; sex, misogyny and passion

I was going over my old notes and came across some from last year, drawn from an article in one of my history periodicals. There’s some really interesting stuff on sex, guilt and sublimation, the sort of thing that Freud would have loved!

Sex, of course is a fairly constant part of the human experience, and people at the time could be just as direct and earthy in the way in which the experience was described as they are today. One only has to read Chaucer and Boccaccio to appreciate that. And who shall plough my little field? :))

Even so Medieval pleasures were tempered by the heavy burden of guilt, placed on the simple act of pleasure by the church. In the eleventh century priests were recommended to ask their parishioners if they had ever committed “….fornication with your step-mother, your sister-in-law, your son’s fiancĂ©e, your mother? Have you ever made a device in the shape of a penis and tied it…” And on and on and on.

This combined, of course, with a deep-seated misogyny, with Eve perceived as the author of original sin. In an early church story a heavy doom is placed upon women; “The curse of God pronounced on your sex weighs still upon the world. You are guilty-you must bear its hardships. You are the Devil’s gateway.”

It’s not just that Eve is guilty; all women are guilty. The same process of transference and perpetuation is to be found elsewhere, most specifically in the perception of the Jews as ‘Christ Killers.’ Anti-Semitism thus makes its way through this conduit into the modern age.

Naturally enough this disapproval of sex and sexuality resulted inevitably in forms of erotic sublimation. Purity was praised and magnified through the cult of the Virgin. But the young women who entered nunneries could find themselves emotionally in a place where devotion and sexual passion were not that far removed, one from the other. Consider the words of Angela of Foligno, a Medieval mystic: "As I stood by the Cross I was filled with such fire I took off my clothes and offered him all of myself.” Yes, she did. :))

Sex and Identity

I’ve been sexually active since I was thirteen years old, in one way or another. For a long time I had real issues about my sexual identity. From the age of twelve until I was eighteen I went to an all-girls boarding school and some of my earliest romantic feelings were for other girls, unattainable figures of perfection mostly, prefects in the upper school who would never condescend to an oink like me! I was convinced for a long-time that I must be a lesbian, though this did not prevent me from having relationships with boys during the holidays. Now I simply define myself as bisexual, and am happy to enter into relationships with girls or guys. Perhaps omnivorous really is a better word!

My problem is I fall in love quickly, too quickly, perhaps, and then start to get bored after the first rush of passion. I’m doing quite well now I suppose, in that my present boyfriend has lasted for ten months, a record by my standards. I suppose I have a tendency to wear people out, or to draw all I can from them like a vampire, before moving on. It’s unsettling sometimes. Perhaps it’s the fault of my early experiences, with no real forms of emotional consistency; perhaps it’s something else. I can’t say for certain. I have to confess to having the most terrible ego! I just don’t ever see me settling down to some long term commitment like marriage. I think I would end up making myself miserable and turning the guy’s life into all hell in the process. I know I drive my mother to complete distraction. :-))
