After their announcement of their recent break, rumours have been hinting that Miku from Antique cafe has been closely linked to ex-member Rika Ishikawa from popular girl band Morning Musume via twitter. 25 year old Miku has announced that he is currently engaged on his personal blog but details are to be confirmed. Newspapers have just reported that the wedding will take place during late summer. It has been said that she he currently pregnant with his child.

Cooking fanatic Miku is also to publish his cook book under an alias at the end of this year.

An Cafe fans who worried that the band's current pause may be indefinite need not worry too much.

During their January 4th concert at Nippon Budokan, they announced that their next live will be a Summer Dive festival in 20XX. We may not know the year, but it seems that An Cafe will be back sooner than feared.



edoh: That still doesnt really help... Its going to be another 90 years till it reaches 2100 if you get my drift. And that my friend is a long long time to wait, I'm not exactly old, but +90 years and I'll be well over a hundred years old... Let's go to An Cafe's live at Nippon Budokan on January 4, 2010 - which will be the last one before taking a hiatus!

Tickets on sale from mid November, for the fans joining from abroad!

B) concert ticket plus hotel room (1 night stay, Jan 4th)

C) concert ticket plus hotel room (2 nights stay, Jan 3rd & 4th)

Popular band An Cafe has announced that they will be suspending their activities. The following announcement has been published on their homepage:

August 31, 2009 - To all the fans and everyone supporting An Cafe,

We regretfully announce that after 6 years since the band was formed in 2003, we have decided to suspend our activities from January 4th, 2010, with a live show at Nippon Budokan.

Without your sincere support for the band till today, we would never have been able to be where we are now. We are so grateful to all of you for your support.

In making this decision, there were numerous discussions made between the band members and the staff. In order for An Cafe to step up to the next level, we have came to the conclusion that it is important for each member to charge up by seeing themselves objectively. The decision is made with a forward-looking vision.

We apologize for conveying this important news to all of you this way, and hope to gain your kind understanding.

After the Budokan show, each member will concentrate on their own activities to prepare for the band to restart in the future.

Again, this is our deepest gratitude for everyone who has supported us.
