"These days the religious teacher who wields most influence over the Turks is Fethullah Gulen," says The Economist.

In 2010, nine Turks, taking supplies to Gaza, were killed by Israeli commandos.

Gulen said it was partly the Turkish side's fault: the flotilla should not have defied Israel.

Gulen lives in America and has been accused of having links to the CIA.

The Gulen movement "forms the apex of a huge conglomerate that includes NGOs, firms, newspapers and college dormitories in Turkey, plus schools across the world."

Several journalists who have tried probing Gulen have found themselves prosecuted or jailed.

People who criticise the movement "can face nasty smear campaigns."

Operation Cage reportedly included the idea of detonating explosives during a school field trip to a military museum.

The intention was to kill lots of kids.

The prosecutor's office began a probe into Operation Cage after it was exposed in Turkish newspapers in November 2009.

Turkish dailies reported that the İstanbul Public Prosecutor's Office summoned for interrogation admirals Kadir Sağdıç and Mehmet Ilgar and retired Admiral Ali Feyyaz Öğütçü, whose names are frequently mentioned in the Cage plan.

Öğütçü has been implicated in the placing of explosives at the bottom of a submarine exhibited at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum.

The explosives were found by police in July 2009.

A letter sent to the prosecutor's office claimed that the explosives placed in the submarine aimed at killing 200-300 young visitors to the museum.

The 'digital imprints' on the files lead back to military computers. Taraf has handed the documents to Istanbul prosecutors.

The Sledgehammer documents reveal the military's plans to detonate bombs in mosques.

The idea of killing people in mosques was to get the survivors to riot and to create the idea that there were lots of mad Moslems around.

The main Sledgehammer document discusses how to take advantage of the chaos after co-ordinated attacks in large cities, especially Istanbul.

This was written several months before attacks against the British consulate, the HSBC bank and synagogues in Istanbul.

The Sledgehammer documents reveal that Stadiums were to be prepared for mass detentions.


A Turkish court, on 16 February 2007, sentenced seven 'suspected al-Qaida militants' to life in prison for the November 2003 bombings in Istanbul, which hit the British consulate, the HSBC bank and two synagogues.

The British Consul General Roger Short was killed by the bomb as he was entering the consulate building. Press reports confirmed that he had cancelled an appointment at the last minute and "if he had gone to his appointment, he would have been alive."

Sakra 'has confessed to Turkish police that he provided the attackers of 9 11 with passports'.

Sakra 'claims that he knew Muhammad Ata'.

Sakra 'claims he drinks alcohol and does not pray'.

Sarka reportedly said: “I was one of the people who knew the perpetrators of September 11, and knew the time and plan before the attacks. I also participated in the preparations for the attacks to WTI and Pentagon. I provided money and passports.”

Reportedly, some of the passports, which Sakra claimed to have provided himself, were found in the ruins of World Trade Centre I.

Sakra was interrogated for 4 days at the Istanbul Anti-Terror Department Headquarters. Reportedly this has provided some important information.

According to Ercan Gun, Turkish intelligence specialists now believe:

1. Al-Qaeda is the name of a secret service operation.

2. Al Qaeda is linked to a strategy of tension.

3. Sakra, the fifth most senior man in al-Qaeda, was offered employment by the CIA. The CIA gave him a large sum of money.

The CIA claimed it eventually lost contact with him.

Reportedly, in 2000, the CIA asked the Turkish security service MIT to capture Sakra. MIT caught Sakra in Turkey and interrogated him.

At a different period of time, Sakra was sought and caught by Syria's al-Mukhabarat. Syria too offered him employment. Sakra eventually became a triple agent for the secret services.

Reportedly 'a prostitution racket' was used by a foreign intelligence service to control certain top people in Turkey.

On 21 June 2011, at Today's Zaman, we learn that a court in Turkey has been hearing evidence from top military officers about certain documents. (officers testify in plot cases)

The documents, seized by police from a naval base in 2010, belong to the 'Sledgehammer' coup plan, which was reportedly devised at a military meeting in 2003.

The documents relate to a prostitution racket reportedly used to extract information from top military officers and senior bureaucrats, on behalf of foreign intelligence services.

Reportedly, elements of the military planned to discredit the governing Justice and Development Party (AK Party) and the Moslem Gülen movement.

They also planned to play down the investigation into the Ergenekon organisation, a 'terror' organisation with links to the military.

The original Ergenekon was a CIA-NATO organisation (linked to Operation Gladio), which used terrorist acts to try to keep its favoured people in power.

Some people believe that the CIA has stopped supporting the Turkish generals, because the Turkish generals have become too nationalistic.

Some people believe that the CIA has switched its support to the moderate Islamic AKP party, one of whose leaders is Abdullah Gul.

On 8 November 2010, Turkey's President Gül said that Turkey is playing an active role in shaping the New World Order.

Gül was speaking at London's Chatham House, said to be a front for the security services. (Chatham House: MI6 Front And Corporate Think-Tank)

Chatham House, also known as the Royal Institute of International Affairs, is the sister organisation of the US Council on Foreign Relations.

Chatham House has presented Gül with its prestigious Chatham House Prize.

During his speech Gül suggested that the Cold War era world system was yet to be replaced by a new and effective system.

Gül suggested that the new order will be accomplished in the next decade.

Gül said that this new order must focus on the whole world and reject a Euro-centric understanding of history and international affairs.

Gül said that the new order must be a multicultural one where a single power's hegemony is absent.


Gül had a meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron, a staunch supporter of Turkey’s accession into the EU.

On plans to build a NATO-wide missile defense system, Gül dismissed claims that the planned shield is designed to protect Israel from a possible Iranian missile attack.

Why would Fuller support Gul, who reportedly wants a 'modern and moderate' grouping of Moslem countries, allegedly as part of a New World Order?

Reportedly, during the Clinton administration, the CIA began to fund Gulen and his movement "with millions derived from drug trafficking – including the revenues amassed by Turkish underworld figures (bubas) from the flow of heroin from Afghanistan through northern Iran to Turkey." Gulen set up madrassahs (Islamic schools) and cemaats (Muslim communities) throughout the Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmernistan and newly-formed Russian republics "in order to gain control of the vast oil and natural gas reserves of these developing countries."

Turkey, under the AKP, has taken a more pro-Iran and more anti-Israel approach.

This might not worry Obama and Brzezinski, who reportedly want Iran as an ally against Russia and China.

Turkey's AKP party worries Israel which sees Turkey being friendly to Syria.

The Gulen movement has been outlawed in Russia, perhaps because it is seen as being a tool of the CIA.

On 11 March 2011, at Todays Zaman, we read about Journalism during the time of Ergenekon‎

Ergenekon is the name given to the gang which carried out acts of false flag terrorism in Turkey.

It is said to have been run by Turkish generals, the CIA, NATO, and Mossad; and it is said to have links to the heroin trade.

Nedim Şener and Ahmet Şık are award-winning journalists who helped expose the Ergenekon network and a coup plan.

They have been arrested.

It is claimed by the authorities that they were members of Ergenekon.

Some people think they were arrested because of the book they wrote containing allegations against the Gülen movement.

The Gülen movement has influence in the judiciary and police.

However, it is possible that the Ergenekon gang has got certain people to write books that will 'confuse people and damage the legitimacy of the Ergenekon case.'

In Egypt, the U.S. Secretly Backed the Brotherhood.

According to former editor of the Japan Times Weekly, Yochi Shimatsu, writing on 17 February 2011:

1. A leaked diplomatic cable shows the US State Department, over the past three years, had secret talks with Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood.

2. The December 2008 cable is entitled "Meeting and Regime Change in Egypt".

3. Half of the suspected 9/11 hijackers, including Atta, were Egyptians linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.

4. At the first major Cairo protest on 25 January 2011, Jared Cohen, a former State Department staffer in charge of planning the Twitter revolution, was physically present with his proteges in the American-sponsored April 6 Youth Movement.

The April 6 Youth Movement is allied with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Cohen has links to Israel and the writings of Gene Sharp.

5. Former Cairo ambassador Frank Wisner Jr, an intelligence expert whose father organized Operation Gladio, landed in Egypt on 31 January.

Great is Diana of the Ephesians!

I was in Ephesus in Turkey last summer, in the ruins of the old Greco-Roman city, once the centre of the cult of the many-breasted goddess Artemis or Diana. The making of votive statues of the goddess by the silversmiths was an important part of the local economy.

Then St Paul arrived. Because of his preaching the trade in these religious artefacts dropped off sharply. One of the silversmiths, a man called Demetrius, gathered his fellow craftsmen. The initial complaint was over the decline in business but they found a higher cause, blaming Paul’s preaching for a loss of respect for the goddess herself. Rumours spread through the city, until a great crowd gathered in the central amphitheatre. The story is detailed in the Book of Acts, chapter 19, verses 24 to 41:

24: For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;
25: Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.
26: Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:
27: So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.
28: And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
29: And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.
30: And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.
31: And certain of the chief of Asia, which were his friends, sent unto him, desiring him that he would not adventure himself into the theatre.

33: And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made his defence unto the people.

35: And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?
36: Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.
37: For ye have brought hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess.
38: Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another.
39: But if ye inquire any thing concerning other matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly.
40: For we are in danger to be called in question for this day's uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse.
41: And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly.

For an hour those people shouted out “Great is Diana of the Ephesians.” Well, I stood in the ruins of that amphitheatre, some 2000 years later, and shouted those same words at the top of my voice, something I had longed to do, to the complete astonishment of the hordes of tourists and our Turkish guide. Great she is indeed. :-))
