SuG : "SuG" day

March 9th is pronounced as "Sa"(3) and "Gu"(9) in Japanese and is also the release day for rock band SuG's (also pronounced as "Sagu" in Japanese) first major album " TOKYO MUZiCAL HOTEL"!
The release event was held in Shibuya O-WEST to celebrate the release.

Unlike a normal event, the band performed the title track with a member-change.
In addition, they also performed an original "one-night-only" song with the original unit, and blew away the venue.

In addition, the original brand "Million $ Orchestra" of vocalist Takeru will held a fashion show and presented the clothes designed by Takeru.
"We have been paid 1 million dollars, and are able to perform without any limitation. There are styles for actors and styles for the street. We put the intention of designers and users together, and extend it to unlimited possibilities. It is the 'freedom' that makes the essence of culture." they said about the brand's concept.
The line will be available on the official site from March 9th.

German music label CLJ Records have announced a special European release of SuG's brand-new album TOKYO MUZiCAL HOTEL.

The album will be released on March 9th, the same date as its Japanese release, and will feature eighteen tracks and an additional DVD.

As we have reported before, next year on January 27th, popular Visual-kei band SuG will celebrate their Major Debut with their new single "gr8 story". Now it has been revealed, that the song will also used as the ending song for the popular Anime "家庭教師ヒットマンREBORN!/ KateiKyoushi Hitman REBORN" aired on TV Tokyo.
This song, which is thoroughly expressing SuG's HEAVY POSITIVE ROCK style and their fun way of looking ahead, seems like a perfect match for this anime.

About the tie-up the members of SuG said [We are extremely happy about the fact, that our Major Debut single will reach a wider audience under these circumstances. Anime and Visual-kei are certainly the things in Japanese culture which have spread into the world the most recently!!]

The anime "家庭教師ヒットマン REBORN!/Kateikzoushi Hitman REBORN" which will feature SuG's new single will be aired every week between 10:30am and 11:00am on TV Tokyo starting on January 9th in 2010.
