FASCISM COMES TO EGYPT, TUNISIA...

Kunduz, Afghanistan, by Steve McCurry 2006
Afghanistan, by Steve McCurry 2006

Tunisia has now become a Fascist state?

On 26 February 2011, author John R Bradley reports on the Arabian nightmare (The Spectator)

Among the points made:

Tunisia used to be tolerant.

1. Kairouan in Tunisia, Islam's fourth holiest city, has long had legal and regulated brothels.

In the Moslem Ottoman-Turkish empire, prostitution was legal and regulated.

2. In Tunisia, tourists have always been able to drink alcohol.

3. In Tunisia, Christians used to be pretty safe.

Since the Jasmine Revolution of January 2011 everything has changed.

1. The Jasmine Revolution has led to attacks on the brothels in Tunisia's cities.

"Hundreds of Islamists raided Abdallah Guech Street armed with Molotov cocktails and knives, torching the brothels, yelling insults at the prostitutes and declaring that Tunisia was now an Islamist state."

Tunisia's brothels are to be permanently closed.

2. Throughout Tunisia there have been demonstrations against the sale of alcohol.

3. Suspected Islamists have slit the throat of a Catholic priest.

What about Egypt?

1. Egypt is now run by a military junta.

2. The Muslim Brotherhood is "the only political group of any note".

What was Tunisia really like under Ben Ali?

"Tunisia was the most secular and progressive country the Islamic world has ever known.

"The regime was the least brutal in the region, its people the wealthiest and best educated.

"The poverty level was just 4  per cent when the revolution broke out, which is among the lowest in the world.

"Eighty per cent of the population belonged to the middle class.

"And the education system - allocated more funding than the army - ranked 17th globally in terms of quality.

How Islamic is Egypt?

1. Egypt had a history of tolerant and liberal Islam.

But, a recent poll conducted by the Pew Research Center found that a majority of Egyptians support stoning as a punishment for adultery, hand amputation for theft, and death for those who convert from Islam to another religion.

2. Yusuf Al-Qaradawi is the spiritual guide to the fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood.

He has a weekly television show on Al Jazeera.

Recently he delivered a political sermon to a five million-strong crowd in Tahrir Square.

3. Alexandria was once famous for 'its secular, carefree atmosphere'.

Now, all Muslim women in the city are veiled.

Violence between local Christians and Muslims is commonplace.

Most bars have stopped serving alcohol.

What about Morocco?

The fundamentalist Party for Justice and Development (PJD) increases its number of seats at each election.

John R. Bradley is the author of Inside Egypt: The Land Of The Pharaohs On The Brink Of A Revolution (2008) and Behind The Veil of Vice: The Business And Culture of Sex In The Middle East (2010).

On 24 February 2011, at the Christian Science Monitor, we read that ordinary Egyptians wish their revolution had never happened

According to the Christian Science Monitor:

1. In recent weeks, Umm Karim, a mother of four, has only been able to afford one meal per day.

"Her teenage sons both lost their jobs when the factory they worked in burned down in Egypt's revolution."

2. "Some Egyptians are beginning to wish that their own revolution had never happened."

3. "Shaban doesn't know how he is going to find money to feed his children dinner.

"Since the revolution started, he has not had a job."

Shaban wasn't involved in Egypt's protests.

4. In Shaban's town of al-Maraziq, building projects are halted and business ventures have been disrupted.

A mechanic in al-Maraziq says that business has declined.

He now pays more for paints and spare parts.

His 11-year-old nephew now misses going to school.

5. Umm Karim says: "I wish the revolution never happened."

Five tourist hotels have been attacked in Cairo.

According to the manager, 'about 1,000 young guys' attacked Cairo's Europa Hotel on 15 February 2011.

WND reported that the Egyptian Islamist terrorist organization Jamaat al Islamiya (Al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya) , 'founded by the Muslim Brotherhood', and 'armed by Hamas', is re-establishing itself.

In 1996, Al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya reportedly carried out a shooting rampage at the Europa Hotel in Cairo, killing 18 Greek tourists.

In 1997, it reportedly carried out the Luxor massacre, killing 58 foreign tourists. (Muslim group.)

On 19 February 2011, the Financial Times reported that these February 2011 hotel attacks raise Islamist fears

"Over the past three weeks", a series of attacks have "targeted the Gandool, the Ramses, the Europa, the Arizona and the Andalous."

The manager of the Europa Hotel suggested that his hotel was smashed up by Islamists.

A policeman standing near the Gandool said the attackers were 'the ones with the beards'.

Two people died in the firebombing of the Ramses.

Some people suspect that the CIA and Mossad are involved with the 'Islamists'

The Head of Egyptian Islamic Jihad Ayman al Zawahiri, fought for the CIA in Bosnia. (aangirfan: Zawahiri)

His brother Zaiman al-Zawahiri fought for the CIA in Kosovo.

Ayman al Zawahiri was involved in the Luxor massacre.

According to January 2000 U.S. Congressional testimony, Ayman al-Zawahiri was granted U.S. residence by the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

One of the centers of operation for al-Zawahiri was London.

President Mubarak, after the Luxor massacre, stated: "There are people who carried out crimes and who were sentenced [in Egypt] and live on British soil." (aangirfan: Zawahiri)

AN ISLAMIST TUNISIA WILL SUIT THE CIA, THE SAUDIS, IRAN & THE MAFIA.

CIA boss Panetta and friends.

Iran has welcomed the revolution in Tunisia.

What about the Islamists in Tunisia?

The Islamist movement has been at the forefront of Tunisia's protests

Will the Islamists be used by Iran, or Saudi Arabia or the CIA or the Heroin traders?

Iran, Saudi Arabia and the CIA all appear to have a philosophy that could be described as 'fascist'.

The mad Moslems and the CIA have another thing in common: heroin.

"It has been said that the ubiquitous Rafsanjani family and also Ayatollah Vaez-Tabasi ... are deeply involved in the drug trade..." (Opium, Brown Sugar & Mullahs in Iran « Plateau of Iran )

"The gossip on the street, going well beyond the observable facts, has the Rafsanjanis stashing billions of dollars in bank accounts in Switzerland and Luxembourg; controlling huge swaths of waterfront in Iran's free economic zones on the Persian Gulf; and owning whole vacation resorts on the idyllic beaches of Dubai, Goa and Thailand." (Millionaire Mullahs - Forbes.com) (Author of "Millionaire Mullahs" Shot Dead )

Website for this image

1. In 1996, Tunisian Minister of Justice Sadok Chaabane said that Tunisian Islamists get their funding and political support from (1) Iran (2) Saudi Arabia.

(Justice Minister Describes Tunisia's Battle Against Islamist Takeover)

According to Chaabane, the 'Islamist' plan is to use Tunisia as "the gateway to its larger neighbors, Algeria and Morocco."

Tunisians belong to Sunni Islam, but Chaabane states that Tunisia's Islamist leaders will accept help from wherever they can find it.

Of course, some believe that the CIA sees Tunisia as its gateway into oil-rich Algeria and Libya.

And the CIA has been happy to use militant Moslems in Kosovo, Afghanistan and elsewhere.

2. Tunisia may now have a bigger problem with 'Islamist extremists' coming in from neighbouring Algeria.

In Algeria, war between the government and 'Islamists' has killed 200,000 people in the last twenty years.

(21 January 2011, Lin Noueihed of Reuters, "What role for the Islamists in the new Tunisia?")

3. In 1980, 30 armed men crossed from Algeria into Tunisia and made their way to the phosphate mining town of Gafsa in central Tunisia. (TUNISIA Plot - TIME)

There they were joined there by 20 other militants.

They tried to seize Gafsa's civil and military installations.

The local people refused to join the revolt.

Tunisian troops defeated the militants. 41 men died.

Gafsa

4. In 2007, Tunisia uncovered an alleged 'terrorist' plot.

"Police dismantled a 'terrorist' group after separate gun battles with suspects ... and recovered explosives, embassy maps and lists of foreign diplomats...

"The gun-battles ... were with members of a 'Salafist terrorist group' (CIA) comprised mainly of Tunisians...

"'Economic facilities' in resort towns had been targeted for attack by a jihadist group from neighbouring Algeria.

"They said the group was linked to the Al-Qaeda (CIA) affiliate Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat, a radical group which aims to create an Islamist state in Algeria.

"The group claimed responsibility for the April 2002 truck-bomb attack on a synagogue in Djerba, which killed 21 people including 14 German tourists." (aangirfan: The CIA, Mossad and the Djerba Bombing.)

Monastir. In the 1980s, a bomb exploded in a tourist hotel in the resort city of Monastir. A British tourist was maimed.

5. Habib Bourguiba, the first president of Tunisia, considered militant Islam a threat to the state.

In 1987, when Ben Ali became president, Islamists were released from jail and allowed to run in the 1989 elections.

Ennahda, or Renaissance, Tunisia's largest Islamist movement, came second to the ruling party.

They won 17% or 35% according to different sources.

Ben Ali reversed his policy.

Ghannouchi, who has been living in London.

Ennahda's leader Sheikh Rachid Ghannouchi was given protection by Britain..

Tunisia accused Ghannouchi of being behind a planned terrorist bombing campaign aimed at crippling Tunisia’s tourist industry. (Justice Minister Describes Tunisia's Battle Against Islamist Takeover)

A bomb that exploded in a tourist hotel in the resort city of Monastir severely maimed a British woman guest.

5. "Many fear that ... extremist ideas will (now) circulate..." as openly and as widely as democratic or secular ideas..." ("What role for the Islamists in the new Tunisia?")

6. Bernard Lewis helped to invent the West's new enemy, known as 'Islam'.

For the British, it was once the Jewish terrorists who were seen as being the enemy.

For the USA, it was once tiny Vietnam.

Professor Bernard Lewis is Jewish and has worked for British intelligence. (Bernard Lewis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia )

Lewis, born in London in 1916, is a historian and 'expert' on Islam.

In 1974, Lewis accepted a position at Princeton University.

In 1990, Lewis wrote an essay entitled The Roots of Muslim Rage.

In this essay, Lewis argued that the struggle between the West and Islam was gathering strength.

In this essay Lewis invented the phrase "clash of civilizations", which got mentioned in the book by Samuel Huntington.[13]

The phrase "clash of civilizations", was first used by Lewis at a meeting in Washington in 1957. [14]

There has been speculation that Lewis, the intelligence services and people like Brzezinski want to make the Moslem world look bad, so that it can be more easily controlled and exploited.

Much of the world's oil lies in Moslem lands.

How do you make Moslems look bad?

You can finance the extremists and help them into power.

You can carry out false flag operations.

Bernard Lewis argues (Bernard Lewis - Wikipedia) that the Middle East is backward due to its culture and religion.

The alternative view is that a country like Iraq is backward partly because of constant interference by countries such as Britain and the USA.

In his 1982 book Muslim Discovery of Europe, Lewis argues that Moslems behaved badly in the Algerian civil war (1992–98).

Lewis fails to point out that certain security services created the violence that began in Algeria in 1991. (aangirfan: Fake terror in Algeria; the US military in Algeria; oil ...)

Lewis fails to point out that many people believe that both Saddam and the Ayatollahs were put into power by the CIA. (aangirfan: Saddam worked for the CIA / aangirfan: The Ayatollahs and the CIA)

TUNISIA - IRAQ STYLE DEMOCRACY

Tunisia: the new Iraq. George W. Bush talked about 'democracy' taking hold in Iraq and then the region.

On 19 January 2011, the Dutch Foreign Minister Uri Rosenthal is reported as saying that he is "very concerned about the way things are developing in Tunisia."

"The situation is deteriorating rapidly and is becoming more dangerous."
(Europeans warn nationals to avoid Tunisia)

"Fidelity and its affiliates helped dozens of Americans and other foreign workers leave the country over the weekend." (Cisco latest firm to suspend Tunisia operations)

In Washington, "Undersecretary for Management Pat Kennedy has approved the authorized departure of dependents from Tunisia." (Tunisia.)

"Men in unmarked cars had been driving around Sousse and shooting random people out of their cars." (RI blogger reporting from center of unrest in Tunisia)

According to Oxford historian Mark Almond (What comes next could be even worse‎):

"President Obama has welcomed the changes in Tunisia...

"The discontent in Tunisia will only increase. Tourism has been for Tunisia what oil is for its neighbours. The mass evacuation of Western holidaymakers is a warning of further economic troubles to come..."

Tourists will not enjoy shootings, riots, bodies in streets... horrific

Are NATO security services involved?

Jan. 16 (Tunisian security forces arrest eight foreign nationals) - "The Tunisian army and security forces arrested eight foreign nationals including four Germans, the Tunisian television reported Sunday.

"Tunisian TV showed footage of the men arrested, as well weapons, maps, electronic equipment and identity papers.

"The group was travelling on board three taxis, when they were intercepted.

"They are said to have entered Tunisia on Jan. 9.

"Some of them were wearing military outfits."

Ghannoushi

We should not forget that the CIA has supported Islamists in such countries as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq and Kosovo. (THE CIA'S MOSLEM FRIENDS, FROM BIN LADEN TO THE MOSLEM BROTHERHOOD.)

Tunisia's Islamists seem to be getting a bit of a boost from the media.

On 18 January 2011, the Guardian has an article by Soumaya Ghannoushi entitled 'Tunisians must dismantle the monster Ben Ali built'

Among the points she makes:

1. The people have to forge a coalition of socialists, Islamists and liberals for real change.

2. "The sense of despair and profound humiliation Arabs felt with the toppling of Saddam's tyrannical regime by the US contrasts sharply with their euphoria at the ousting of Tunisia's dictator."

3. In Tunisia, "the apparatus of repression laid down by Habib Bourguiba, Tunisia's charismatic 'founding father', was fine-tuned by the general who inherited it."

4. The task now facing the Tunisian people - is to build a wide coalition of the forces that can dismantle the legacy of the despotic post-colonial state.

This has been the driving force for the alliance being forged between the Communist Workers' Party, led by Hamma al-Hammami, the charismatic Moncef al-Marzouqi's Congress Party for the Republic, and (Islamist) Ennahda, led by my father Rachid Ghannouchi, along with trade unionists, and civil society activists.

The Tunisian stock market began to fall before the riots began - Bloomberg (Website for this image)

In 2006, US embassy cables considered the question of finding a successor to Ben Ali in Tunisia

(US embassy cables: Finding a successor to Ben Ali in Tunisia)

Cable dated: 2006-01-09 - SUBJECT: SUCCESSION IN TUNISIA: FINDING A SUCCESSOR OR FEET FIRST? - Classified By: AMBASSADOR WILLIAM HUDSON

Among the points made:

1. the US-Tunisian bilateral relationship is likely to remain unaffected by the departure of Ben Ali.

2. X recently told the Ambassador X that Ben Ali wants to avoid the "difficulties" that arose when Tunisia's first president, Habib Bourguiba, declined in 1987.

Some people may state their hope that U.S. and European pressure could force Ben Ali to ... relinquish the presidency.

3. POSSIBLE SUCCESSORS

Minister of Defense Morjane: affecting the credibility of succession scenarios is an oft-repeated notion that the US is favoring Morjane in the succession race.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/General-Rachid-Ammar-.

May 2010 - General William E. Ward, commander of U.S. Africa Command, visited Tunisia and met Tunisian Minister of Defense Ridha Grira.

"Minister Grira had recently returned from very positive talks in Washington with Secretary of Defense Robert Gates." (Tunisia - U.S. Africa Command Blog)

October 2010 - Sakhr El Materi, chairman of the Tunisia-US Parliamentary Friendship Group, had talks with top Americans in the Pentagon and the State Department.

November 2010 - A cable from the US embassy in Tunis released by wikileaks describes Tunisia's President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali's family entourage as a "quasi Mafia" because of its "organized corruption".

17 December - Mohamed Bouazizi, a 26-year-old university graduate, reportedly set himself alight in the central Tunisian town of Sidi Bouzid in a protest over unemployment.

Tunisia's current president is President Fouad Mebazza.

Was Tunisian army chief General Ammar part of the plot to topple Ben Ali?

According to the Independent (Head of Tunisian army.):

General Ammar "advised the President, claim Arab sources, that his safety could not be guaranteed if he attempted to cling on to power.

"Gen Ammar subsequently withdrew the vast bulk of his forces from the capital...

"Walid Chisti, a political analyst, said: "He does not have to do anything, just watch and wait. He is an ambitious man."

BERNARD LUGAN ON TUNISIA; CIA RUN ISLAMISATION

On 16 January 2011, top French scholar Bernard Lugan wrote about Tunisia.

(L'africaniste Bernard Lugan ne se réjouit pas de la chute du régime tunisien de Ben Ali ... Translate this page / Bernard Lugan news on Tunisia)

According to his article:

1. President Ben Ali changed Tunisia for the better.

Under Ben Ali, Tunisia attracted capital and modern industries.

Tunisia was a pole of stability and tolerance in the Muslim world.

Thousands of patients came to Tunisia for its European-standard medical care.

Youth was well educated.

Women were free.

And girls did not wear the veil.

2. Today, it is all destroyed.

There is systematic looting.

Thugs knock down doors and loot and rape.

Honest citizens live in terror.

They form themselves into militias.

The only political leaders quoted by the media seem to be the leaders of the Communist Party of Tunisia.

3. The blindness of the journalistic world is breathtaking.

How can they forget, these uneducated parrots, the fall of the Shah and ...the mullahs?

4. The next country which will be wrecked is Egypt and then the consequences will be incalculable.

The scenario is known in advance: uprisings due to the increase in food prices and the suicidal population, a strong police response whipped up by the eternal sermonizers and finally a Western media campaign against the Mubarak family accused of enrichment.

And the road will be open for an Islamic republic.

5. These tragic events inspire a renewed contempt for our "political class".

(Bernard Lugan (born 1946 in Meknès, Morocco) is a contemporary French historian and Associate Professor of African history at Jean Moulin University Lyon. Tunisia: the new Iraq. George W. Bush talked about 'democracy' taking hold in Iraq and then the region.

According to The Telegraph (Tunisia's new government implodes on day one): 18 Jan 2011:

"Police were forced to use tear gas and baton charges to break up multiple protests in Tunis city centre.

The mad Moslems all work for the CIA and its friends (THE CIA'S MOSLEM FRIENDS, FROM BIN LADEN TO THE MOSLEM BROTHERHOOD.)

According to Andrew Gavin Marshall, at Global Research, 5 September 2010, (The “Arc of Crisis”):

When Jimmy Carter became President, his government decided to support the Ayatollahs in Iran.

In 1978, Zbigniew Brzezinski referred to "an arc of crisis" and according to Time magazine, in January 1979, the "center of gravity of this arc is Iran, the world's fourth largest oil producer."

According to Peter Dale Scott, in The Road to 9/11: Wealth, Empire, and the Future of America, "There was this idea that the Islamic forces could be used against the Soviet Union."

In 1978, Carter named George Ball to head a special White House Iran task force.

"Ball recommended that Washington drop support for the Shah of Iran and support the fundamentalist Islamic opposition of Ayatollah Khomeini." (F. William Engdahl, A Century of War: Anglo-American Oil Politics and the New World Order. )

Manouchehr Ganji was a minister in the Shah's government and he has Defying the Iranian Revolution: From a Minister to the Shah to a Leader of Resistance.

According to Ganji, in 1978, the Shah believed that "the Carter administration was plotting to topple his regime."

In 1978, the Shah's wife, told Ganji that, "I wanted to tell you that the Americans are maneuvering to bring down the Shah... they even want to topple the regime."

Ramsey Clark, a former US Attorney General, and a professor Richard Falk, visited Khomeini in Paris.

According to Manouchehr Ganji, James Bill, a Carter adviser, felt that, "a religious movement brought about with the United States' assistance would be a natural friend of the United States."

The BBC broadcast pro-Khomeini programs daily in Iran. (F. William Engdahl, A Century of War: Anglo-American Oil Politics and the New World Order)

At the 1979 Bilderberg meeting, Bernard Lewis, a British historian, presented a British-American plan which supported "the radical Muslim Brotherhood movement behind Khomeini, in order to promote balkanization of the entire Muslim Near East along tribal and religious lines."

While Khomeini was in Paris, a representative of the French President organized a meeting between Khomeini and "current world powers." (http://www.ipsnews.net/news.asp?idnews=43328)

In February 1979, Khomeini was flown out of Paris on an Air France flight, to return to Iran, "with the blessing of Jimmy Carter."

Covertly, the United States immediately stirred up war in the region.

Iraq invaded Iran, in April 1980.

Two months before the war, Brzezinski met with Saddam Hussein in Jordan, where he gave support for the destabilization of Iran.

SPOOKS SUPPORT MAD MOSLEMS AND HEROIN?

General Kayani (right). "A senior government official said Gen. Kayani’s good rapport with Gen. David Petraeus, the commander of North Atlantic Treaty Organization forces in Afghanistan, and other American military leaders was a major factor in the decision to extend his term." (Pakistan Extends Gen. Kayani's Term « Pakistanis for Peace)

In Pakistan, most people vote for secular, non-religious, political parties.

Yet, on 31 December 2010, we read that there has been a 24-hour strike across Pakistan to defend the crazy Islamic blasphemy laws.

Pakistan's Federal Law Minister, Babar Awan, told reporters that the strike was simply the latest attempt to revive a once powerful alliance of religious parties, the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal.

Many believe this group is "acting at the behest of the security establishment to undermine the country's political system." (Pakistan on blasphemy law strike BBC News)

So, certain spooks promoted the strike.

Pakistan's spy service ISI, the CIA and Saudi Arabia, have long promoted Islamic fundamentalism in the region.

President Zia ul Haq and Reagan

Pakistan is more about HEROIN than about Islamic extremism.

Some of the so called Islamists are in the heroin trade.

Alfred McCoy, Professor of Southeast Asian History at the University of Wisconsin, refers to "a very major syndicate connected with former president Zia ul-Haq of Pakistan". (Interview with Alfred McCoy - re Heroin and the CIA)

Zia ul-Haq was president of Pakistan from 1977–1988 and with the help of the CIA he tried to make Pakistan more Islamic.

And, Zia-ul-Haq and his pals made 'untold millions' from heroin. (Zia-ul-Haq made `untold millions' as a druglord: Book)

According to McCoy:

"In 1979 Pakistan had a small localized opium trade and produced no heroin whatsoever.

"Yet by 1981, according to U.S. Attorney General William French Smith, Pakistan had emerged as the world's leading supplier of heroin.

"It became the supplier of 60% of U.S. heroin supply and it captured a comparable section of the European market.,,

"By 1985, according to official Pakistan government statistics, Pakistan had 1.2 million heroin addicts, the largest heroin addict population in the world.

"Who were the manufacturers? They were all either military factions connected with Pakistan intelligence, CIA allies, or Afghan resistance groups connected with the CIA and Pakistan intelligence."

Pakistan is easy to exploit.

Pakistan has four groups - Punjabis, Pashtuns, Baluch, and Sindhis - and they are not a united bunch.

In 2009, David Kilcullen, a US terror expert and former Australian soldier, said he thought Pakistan could collapse within six months.

It looks like the USA wants to break up Pakistan.

1. Hugo Chavez once said, "The U.S. disposes of its allies like used condoms."

(quote from mostaqueali.blogspot.com/)

The US government appears to be involved in a campaign to break up Pakistan.

(PAKISTAN TO BE BROKEN UP?)

Pakistan has flirted with China.

The Military Industrial Complex feels it needs wars to ensure its survival.

(Pakistan and China versus Mossad, CIA, RAW and MI6)

The USA can call upon its friends, such as Saudi Arabia, to help break up Pakistan?

(Pakistan, Cricket, Mossad, Saudi Arabia, CIA)

Balochistan is to become 'independent' and is to used as a route for heroin?

2. Part of the US campaign appears to involve propaganda, such as presenting Pakistanis as barbarians.

Remember a video of a girl being flogged?

A top government official of Pakistan's Taliban-controlled Swat region has made the claim that the amateur video clip shown by television channels of a 17-year-old girl being flogged was fabricated. - Swat girl flogging video fake, official says

3. Part of the US campaign appears to involve false flag acts of terror, to destabilise Pakistan.

The US campaign seems to aim to set Punjabis against Pashtuns.

On 7 April 2009, a news report from the USA announced that "Pakistan could collapse within six months: US expert." - Pakistan could collapse within six months: report

The US expert is David Kilcullen.

David Kilcullen was a terrorism adviser to General David Petraeus in Iraq.

In Iraq, much of the 'terrorism' was allegedly the work of the USA, and was allegedly aimed at weakening and dividing opposition to US colonialism.

Kilcullen has been advising Petraeus in Afghanistan.

Many Pakistanis do not believe in the idea of al Qaeda being an Islamic group. Some see it as a CIA institution.

Osama stayed in an American hospital just before 9 11.

According to the New York Times, many Pakistanis have decided that reaching an accommodation with 'the militants' is preferable to fighting them.

Some, including mid-ranking soldiers, choose to see the militants not as the enemy, but as fellow Muslims who are deserving of greater sympathy than are the American aims, according to the New York Times.

4. Pakistan is in a weak position because, allegedly, Pakistan's 'corrupt' President Zardari takes orders from the USA.

And, allegedly, many of the top people in the Pakistan military and government are assets of the CIA. (The Mumbai Attacks and the Militaries of the USA, India and Pakistan)

On 3 December 2008, the bipartisan Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism reported that:

If there was a WMD attack on the United States, it would originate in Pakistan.

(WMD attack to originate in Pakistan: US report)

Acording to the report:

“Were one to map terrorism and weapons of mass destruction today, all roads would intersect in Pakistan."

The commission briefed President Bush and Vice President-elect Joe Biden, senior congressional leaders on 3 December 2008 and warned them “it is more likely than not that a weapon of mass destruction will be used in a terrorist attack somewhere in the world by the end of 2013”.

Allegedly, the CIA is preparing the world for a possible US attack on Pakistan by, allegedly, carrying out the following actions:

1. The assassination of Benazir Bhutto in December 2007

Accusations that the CIA murdered Benazir Bhutto

The shooting of Benazir Bhutto

The death of Bhutto; Mossad and the CIA.

2. The toppling of Musharraf in August 2008

3. The attack against the Islamabad Marriott in September 2008

4. The Mumbai Attacks of November 2008

The US commission report, of 3 December 2008 (WMD attack to originate in Pakistan: US report), noted that in October 2008, China agreed to build two nuclear power plants in Pakistan.

Pakistan by Steve Evans

“This deal — especially if it does not contain mechanisms to prevent nuclear material from being transferred from the new civilian plants to military facilities — signals a nascent nuclear arms race in Asia,” the commission warned.

“The risk of a WMD attack being planned and executed from Pakistan’s northwest frontier area is growing, as that area continues to function as a safe haven for Al Qaeda.”

Why the US Wants the Collapse of Pakistan (UNObserver & International Report)

Excerpts:

1. There are secret US military bases with troop levels totalling, at present, a few thousand - and Punjab isn’t the only region that has US combat troops present.

2. Traditional mainstream media are being fed stories that underline the “need” for US intervention.

3. Scenarios are already being floated to carve up Pakistan into “Greater Baluchistan” (which is now Pakistan’s largest province) and some other new “states” in which to install puppet regimes.

4. The weakening or even collapse of the state of Pakistan will create a new battlefield badly needed by the White House.

The “War on Terror” (as the War on Islam is often termed), like most wars, needs expansion or it collapses.
