Sendai Kamotsu made the announcement during their open-air live performance at Shinjuku Station Square on September 5th, which attracted approximately 3,000 people. After introducing new songs to be included on their upcoming album Deko, vocalist Chiba revealed that the band has gone bankrupt due to business recession, and therefore their performance at Budokan will be their last.
The band has several releases scheduled to come out within the next months, including two live DVDs and their second album Deko. In addition to their performance at Nippon Budokan, they have also booked a last concert in Sendai, their hometown, at the hall Izumity 21 on October 31st.
