Source: JaME UKVisual kei rock band cali≠gari, who rejoined forces this year after a break of approximately six years, announced that their reunion has come to an end.
Formed in 1993, cali≠gari went on hiatus in 2003 after a last concert titled Kyuu at Hibiya Yagaidai Ongakudou. Since then, the members have focused on various solo projects, most notably GOATBED, formed by vocalist Shuuji Ishii, and LAB. THE BASEMENT, led by guitarist Ao Sakurai.
In June this year, the band returned to play four concerts in Tokyo and one in Osaka. They also took part in the big event JACK IN THE BOX 2009 SUMMER, held by the DANGER CRUE label at Makuhari Messe in August.
November 18th will mark the last concert of their reunion. Taking place at Zepp Tokyo, the event will be called Tokyo Chikashitsu ~chika juurokukai~ and will also feature performances by MUCC and Plastic Tree, as well as four sub-acts, including Anemone, Onan Spelmermaid, Hibiko and Romi.
