DIR EN GREY Won 3rd Place with their Extreme Music Video
Music video of "Hageshisa To, Kono Mune No Naka De Karamitsuita Shakunetsu No Yami" by DIR EN GREY, new single released on December 2nd 2009, was exclusively released in iTunes Store at 0:00 on March 17th and won 3rd place in music video chart on its release day.
It turned out to be a high quality but an extremely radical music video. It has been causing controversy such as German label commented "Depiction of the video is too extreme, it might not be able to deliver in Germany."
It's reverberating around the world by being blacked out by TV media because of its visual and depiction.
It has been 2 month since their performance at Nihon Budokan which electrified entire music industry. Now they are sending shockwaves through internet.
"We Are the World 25 for Haiti" won the 1st place and "We Are the World" was 2nd place. DIR EN GREY beat other musicians such as Lady Gaga, Kii Kitano, GLAY, Gorillaz. It gave evidence for DIR EN GREY being center of attraction.
Their LIVE DVD "UROBOROS -with the proof in the name of living...- AT NIPPON BUDOKAN" is scheduled to be released on May 26th.
