Alice Nine: Alice Nine collaborative campaign with Shibuya 109-2

Source: MusicJAPANplus

Take, for instance, this week. There’s a big poster of Alice Nine member Shou (the photo used was taken just for the poster), an ominous-looking billboard of Tackey [Takizawa Hideaki] and Ryo-chan [Nishikido Ryo] for the drama series ‘オルトロスの犬 / Orthrus no Inu’ in which they play the lead roles. Last but no least there’s also a massive poster promoting a sexually provocative drama streamed only for mobile phones. It stars Mukai Osamu, who raised a lot of attention when he recently posed nude for a women’s magazine. You are practically surrounded 360 degrees by an all star lineup!(There are also posters of up-and-coming Johnny’s group NYCboys alongside SMAP and many others!)

The main attraction right now is the Alice Nine collaborative campaign with Shibuya 109-2 [sister department of 109] that is being held from August 1st to 23rd!

During the campaign, Alice Nine appears on large ad banners outside 109-2 and also on a goliath-sized poster at the entrance. At the exhibition space on the first floor the members’ costumes worn for the collaborative campaign are being displayed. Shou-san is looking gorgeous than ever in the posters! Also, on the big public screen just outside the building, special video footage of the band are being shown as well. Alice Nine worked with the various shops housed in 109-2 and produced a collection of exclusive merchandise. They are being sold at the shops as part of the campaign. It’s a very lavish project indeed. You feel as if Shibuya has been taken over by Alice Nine! (But take a walk down the Center-gai and you will see not one but two monolithic posters advertising the GazettE new album ‘DIM’. They’re conducting an equally grand campaign as well!) Before the Alice Nine campaign, the billboard featured a controversial nude poster of actors Tamaki Hiroshi and Yamada Takayuki for the movie ‘MW’!!

Rxchaxl: All in all, this really may be usless info, but I found it interesting. Plus I'm a big A9 fan, let alone a Shou one. The pictures used are the ones taken from Shou's blog.
