Popular rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN are launching a two-week release campaign in April, approximately five months after releasing their latest single R.I.P. / Merry Christmas.

Fans have expectations of a new album from BUMP OF CHICKEN, as the group has only recently restarted putting out new songs. Their latest original full-length CD was orbital period, released back in December 2007.

The first of the two singles is HAPPY, due out on April 14th. It is a rock tune with a strong, warm message and meaningful lyrics. The second of the singles, Mahou no ryori ~kimi kara kimi e~, will be released on April 21st. It is described as a nostalgic song and is currently getting air-play in NHK's program "Minna no uta" during April and May.

Both singles are being released in only one format, each with an additional song tom accompany the title track. HAPPY will include pinkie as its b-side, while Mahou no ryori ~kimi kara kimi e~ will come with Caravan.
