What is it with jrock band/signers nowadays and changing their names. Well not really CHANGING, but altering. Gackt has recently decided to change his name to GACKT in captials "In commemoration of 10 years. [MJ+]" and alice nine. have changed theirs to a simple Alice Nine, with the right captialisation.I've always written it as Alice Nine anyways.
Its nice how people like to have common sense once in a while. Now I'm going to see if bands are going to remove the silly stars, dodgey arrows and ',' in their names >_>...
Some other bands, like Versailles had their name held at gunpoint by american laws because of copyright, and therefore adding an extra "Philharmonic Quintet" [made up by fans] at the end to avoid getting sued.
VELVETNIGHTMARE also had a name change to DI3SIRAE which has nothing to do with the pass name, but all the band members are apparently the same.
Did you know the GazettE use to be called Gazette?
Miyavi was known as Miyabi which meant 'elegant' back in his band time with Du・le quartz, I think now he would like to be known is MYV but its not really catching on as his 'new name' but more as a nick/short.
A bunch of jrockers had name changes so I won't talk much about that. Anyone else I have missed?
