According to the official website, an extra episode of "K-ON!" was announced to be released in the volume 7 of DVD/Blu-ray. It will be released on January 20th, 2010.

On the note of K-on!, if you remember Sawako sensei also had a band Death Devil, and theyre going to be releasing a single Maddy Candy to be out 12/08/09. The single features the songs from episode 4.
