UVERworld : Interesting info on GOLD

Sony Music Entertainment is now riding the 3D boom. The company has started producing Japan's first 3D music video, for a song titled "GOLD" by rock band UVERworld.

"GOLD" is being released as the band's 15th single on March 31. The music video, which mainly depicts the band performing, was shot over a two-day period in late March. Utilizing cutting-edge 3D techniques, "GOLD" is estimated to cost at least 10 million yen more than a typical video.

As a special promotion for UVERworld's upcoming album "LAST" (on sale April 14), Sony plans to hold a screening of the music video on April 17, with about 1,000 tickets expected to be given out by lottery to fans who purchase the album. Sony is also considering having the band's members in attendance at the event.

SPIV STATES : New OHP look / Novelty Hunter

A small update for fans of spiv states, the band has recently finished the rennovations on their OHP! In doing so, they have also announced the opening of their official web-shop. You can now purchase a large variety of goods from the shop including releases, photo-sets, buttons, and cellphone straps.

In addition to the update, the band has also just uploaded song samples for their upcoming first mini-album, “Novelty Hunter”. After their announcement of their recent break, rumours have been hinting that Miku from Antique cafe has been closely linked to ex-member Rika Ishikawa from popular girl band Morning Musume via twitter. 25 year old Miku has announced that he is currently engaged on his personal blog but details are to be confirmed. Newspapers have just reported that the wedding will take place during late summer. It has been said that she he currently pregnant with his child.

Cooking fanatic Miku is also to publish his cook book under an alias at the end of this year.

Lin -the end of corruption world- : Kisaki's New band

KISAKI had previously mentioned that he would be starting a new band in the summer, and now the announcement of that band has come along with the band’s first live.

Rin-the end of corruption world-, will perform for the first time at Over the Edge ‘10@OSAKA on May 23rd, 2010, alongside many other big name bands in the visual kei scene.

The lineup of the band has yet to be announced.

Anli Pollicino : First Jrock band to play in Romania

Anli Pollicino have just recently, at their live on March 25th in Nagoya, bid their farewell to the costumes they had created a lot of memories with and to express their regret about this, the members have posted pictures of said costumes in their blogs. After all, those had been the costumes they had toured throughout the country with.
In his blog Kiyozumi wrote: "As the costumes have been made with a taste of our own clothes, I am feel a lot of compassion towards them, as today is now the last day for them."
It is really moving, to learn about the story behind something he used like that.

On a different note - Anli Pollicino will be heading to Europe for their tour starting on May 12th. Beginning in the French WATTRELOS, they will move on to the COLMAR and so forth.
You can also check the schedule of their tour here at musicJAPANplus.

Moreover, it has now been decided, that additional performances will be held in Romania and at the Parisian "CERGY PONTOISE" for the Furia Sound Festival.

It is the first time for a Japanese artist to perform live in Romania and every fan can be certain that Anli Pollicino, who are then representing many Japanese artists, will hold an exciting show!
To everyone, who is participating in an Anli Pollicino concert for the first time, please look forward to it!

Also, please have a lot of fun at the Furia Sound Festival with them, as they will make another stop in France there!

The “new project” Bandai recently announced has been confirmed as being a full anime project promising a “new birth,” much to the delight of the many fans of the series.


Tempering fan enthusiasm is uncertainty over the release schedule (it is not clear whether it will actually be released in 2010), and more importantly over the direction the story is likely to take considering the conclusive events of the anime.

Fans ponder whether the project will take the form of an Evangelion-style alternative remake, a purely character-based spinoff, or another narrative somehow fitting into the events of the original, or even rewriting it.

Shunsuke passes away

Many of his friends who are currently involved in the scene had updated their blogs with the announcement, however, all have been deleted or edited to remove any details (including his name). Although we wanted to wait for an official announcement, a few fans caught the posts before they were deleted, and therefore the word is spreading. Details are not available, but we’ll keep you updated.

All of the staff at Shattered-Tranquility.net offers our deepest condolences to Shunsuke’s family and friends.

Kaito from Wizard originally wrote the announcement, and apparently Kaito originally posted:

Just recently, I got news that ex.bis’s Shunsuke has passed away.

He’s one of the few bandmen who is the same age as me, and he’s a good friend who I had many passionate talks with.

We’d talked a lot of times about doing a session band together, but we couldn’t easily pull it together so in the end, we weren’t able to be on stage one last time together.

However, his blog has now been changed his blog to read:

I haven’t sorted out my feelings yet.
When I do get them sorted out,
I’ll write here again.

It seems that Shou from Alice Nine has also referenced Shunsuke’s passing:

I received some bad news.

I can’t believe it, and I don’t want to believe it, so this is the only comment I can offer at this time.

He was someone who was kind and honest, we [our bands] went on tours together, and being on the same label, I remember how he did so many favours for us.

I don’t know if there’s any kind of salvation for this kind of misery, but I hope that he can find happiness.

On a closing note, although there are many rumours floating around about his passing, many fans remind readers that he had been ill, even having to cancel his appearance at a live.
